Installer - Christmas Lighting

$18 - $25 hourly

About the Job:

Brite Star Lighting is hiring Christmas Light Installers for the holiday season. Installers will work as part of a crew to install and remove decorative lighting and holiday displays at residential and commercial properties throughout the Ventura area.
This is a hands-on outdoor position for candidates who are comfortable working at heights, using ladders and lifts, and performing physical work for extended periods.

Responsibilities:

Install Christmas lights and holiday decorations on homes and commercial properties.
Install lighting on roofs, trees, buildings, and landscaping.
Use ladders, lifts, hand tools, and installation equipment safely.
Follow project plans and installation instructions.
Follow all company safety procedures while working at heights.
Work with the installation crew to complete projects efficiently.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Communicate professionally with customers when needed.
Remove, organize, and store holiday lighting and decorations after the season.

Qualifications:

Comfortable working outdoors and at heights.
Comfortable using ladders and lifts.
Reliable transportation.
Strong attention to detail.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Previous experience with Christmas light installation, construction, landscaping, electrical work, or similar outdoor work is a plus.
Basic electrical knowledge is a plus.
Availability for evenings, weekends, and extended hours during the holiday season.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
Ability to stand, climb, kneel, and work outdoors for extended periods.
Ability to work safely on ladders, roofs, and elevated surfaces.
Ability to work in varying weather conditions.

Schedule and Pay:

Full-time seasonal position during the holiday installation season.
$18-$25 per hour, based on experience.
Overtime may be available during peak periods.
